Drupalcon Barcelona is coming up at the end of September. We're getting past the call-for-attendees stage and towards the call for presentations (here are Dries' ideas for sessions - see if you can present one). Sessions will be organized based on the most votes, so be sure to visit the Session list and vote for your favorites.

If you do go, you can get to see my smiling face presenting and leading discussion on two of my favorite topics:

Token Module

Token Module: How I Learned To Use the Token API and Stop Re-Implementing Dynamic String Replacement because really, how fun is it to re-implement dynamic string replacement? Not very! Even less fun is object/array/string parsing, which token handles for you!

Drupal Local User Groups

(Dis)Organizing a Drupal Local User Group: lessons learned. There's been some discussion on how the Drupal Association can support local user groups. This round-table style discussion will be focused on lessons learned and then figuring out how the Drupal Association might help the growth of these groups.

Sessions I'd Like to See

I'm also interested in scaling/performance stuff - both a Drupal.org specific discussion and a general discussion. Those would be great. If I don't see one then perhaps I'll volunteer to host another round table and then hope that the people attending can provide some of the content!
