Robin Monks is an avid open source engineer who has been focused on the open web, and Drupal specifically, since 2004. The maintainer of several Drupal modules across versions 5, 6 and 7, he uses his experience in Drupal and open source culture to create usable infrastructure and tools for any given need.
As Sr. Developer at CivicSpace LLC, Robin programmed the basis for the first Drupal installer (for Drupal 4.6). He's also worked for the Mozilla Foundation and was marketer for the SpreadFirefox campaign. At night, Robin becomes a technical writer and ranter whose writings have appeared in Open Source magazines and frequently on his blog. He wrote the chapter on upgrading modules from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 in the upcoming book, The Definite Guide to Drupal 7, published by Apress.
